About

Aaron (@aaronathletic) is a Strength and Conditioning Coach who has been actively involved in sports such as rugby, swimming and cricket from a young age. Wanting to pursue a career in the sports and fitness industry, he completed his degree in BSc Strength and Conditioning (S&C) Science. This in turn led him to work as a S&C coach with rugby teams around London such as the London Scottish Academy, Rosslyn Park, Esher and professional rugby team Harlequins who play in the English premiership. Aaron also provided S&C support to various motor racing drivers, most notably in Formula 2, Formula E & Blanc Pain GT.

Aaron specialises in performance oriented goals, helping people return to exercise and sport through developing strength, cardiovascular development, mobility and body composition qualities. His coaching philosophy is developed around balancing out and strengthening the body, this allows for proper body movement and minimises at risk areas when undergoing the stress of activity. He believes in building strength from the ground up, working through all different ranges of motion, training at different velocities, carefully selected exercises and individualised training programs. Aaron understands that alongside these there are other pillars of health and fitness which are crucial when making long lasting changes, this includes skill development, stress, nutrition and social support.

Outside of the gym, Aaron currently is currently Head of Strength & Conditioning for the Singapore Mens & Womens 7s Program. In 2022 both mens and Womens won gold at the Asia Rugby 7s Trophy, getting both teams promoted to the higher 7s series in 2023. In 2023 went to the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, finishing 5th in Asia

Previously he also went to 2019 Olympic Qualifiers in China and The 2019 SEA Games in the Phillipines with the Singapore Womens team.

Aaron also specialises Tennis strength and conditioning, having built a name for working within Tennis athletic development in Singapore. He also focuses on youth development training where he has built two youth academies at his previous two employments. Aaron has also helped a number of young boys prepare for enlistment to National Service.
